Roman Cohort

What a work! I like it in all its aspects - especially the last group which is just arriving on the field. Besides your wonderful painting, it´s also the combination of Strelets figures with some Art Miniaturen figures which are making now the scene still more vivid and impressive. There are really many eye-catchers integrated in your diorama.

So the old man has finally made it. ;-)
Well - lots of kudos, this looks really great and it surely takes a lot of patience to paint so many figures. Especially when taking into consideration that you've painted other stuff in the meantime as well.

What's the size of the diorama board? Surely not that small, is it?

Oh I don't know how I could miss this topic! I was even sure I wrote a comment about the background with the dark sky !?
Anyway, this is a piece of art, congratulations :yeah:

I like it :yeah:

Just one observation (there's always one isn't there :P). Here is a cohort standing in a field of knee high grass and no discernable way they got there.

Beam me down Scotty!

I must have somehow missed this when you first posted it. Terrific work. Is this a commission from the manufacturer? They chose their painter wisely...
