Entry Ready for "BFF Great Miniature Figures Parade"

Finished! Some of the worst figures painted by one of the forum's worst painter doing his very worst with them! And while washing I saw I hadn't painted the Brits alike! Let's say they made their own uniforms. Anyhow, I sent them on their way and of course they took a shortcut and added the mailman and a knight to their number. But the shortcut was through the haunted backstreets of Hobbyton:



and that was too scary so I send them in a box:

Susofrick, your parade looks great! Why do you tease yourself so hard? I like the group in blue at the back more than the read-coated guys at the front.

Thanks for your support Mr. Andrea, but I have seen the figures up close. No, they DID have their clothes on!!! It was pretty frustrating to aim with the brush on the button, hit the button with the brush and on the way back with the brush shake a little so the paint got in the wrong place. Not once, but on all of them. And not just when I tried buttonpainting, but everything I painted got wrong. Well, I will soon get rid of them. And they will join the parade with other figures. But I won't stop painting! I have more figures to paint so I will start a new project after Easter.

I also like your parade. Andrea is right, you should not blame yourself so much. You are a great supporter of the GBs and therefore I am really grateful.

I like you blue and red columne and I will do my best to build them a worthy base.

And to all the others who are not yet ready: Please send a proof of life. Why not posting a WIP picture in the other section. I would love to see what up at your workshops.

Well done, Gunnar, I think these are another excellent contribution, I love the Swedes and in my opinion any man that tackles a battalion of Airfix soldiers should be awarded a medal for painting valour. To paraphrase those Punk pioneers The Sex Pistols; "Never mind the buttons"

And remember, when it comes to Group Build parades, the whole is so much more than the sum of its parts.

Hello folks!

this is the last call!

This weekend I will start the assembly of the Parade-Diorama! So please send me a message what is the status of your work and if I still can count you in. Some have already done, but it would be nice to have final messages. I would like to do my best to create something, which is fair for the wonderful entries already waiting here, but this will at least take some time.

Last year I promised Dad to bring some extra light to shine on the groupbuild parade this year.
So since wednesday I have this 800watt daylight softbox here in my livingroom.
I will bring it to Arnhem to hang it on top of the Parade Diorama so people can clearly see them and photograph it without using flashlight.

MABO how long will the parade become? Can you estimate that? I might get a second light for the tail of that parade.
