A darn good idea, now seen and realised Jan, and the figures are all white too.
:sst: " I think he means alright?"____  "Ya,A play on words."
I like the grouping of the figures, and the camera shot, and the dark side they now bounce upon. ____ :sst: " o dear the dark side."
____  Ya`,Out of sight man."

An inspiring presentation. BB

Today I have recieved the wonderful entry of the Edwardian. And your figures looks more marvelous here on my table than they looked on the pictures. I will work with the base you gave them and I think I will give them an urban background.

Thank you so much for taking part and sending your figures, which arrived here right in time.

I think I will get at least two entries I hope before Sunday.

I'm wondering what the moon is made of! Cheese?

Looks wonderful, Jan!

That's one step for a small man, one giant leap for the Group Build. :coffee:

Good to hear that Edwardian's volunteer troops have arrived :yeah:

Thank you for posting news of their arrival, Jan; I am greatly relieved to learn that they have arrived, and I am sorry to have been so disorganised!

An urban setting would be entirely appropriate, as they drilled in Lincoln's Inn, London!

I have to say, the contributions so far have been stunning, and I love the way you are basing and presenting them!

P.S. Marvin, regarding the Moon; it's Wensleydale, apparently.

What surprises me is your perfect use of long grasses, both fields and tufts, growing straight up :yeah:
Did you use the 'up side down' method or the electric static tool to achieve this?

What made me wonder about who made the bases, is the wide variety, even in meteorological seasons. :eh: :P Very surprising, well done MABO, well done.

Thanks for the flowers, Mr.C. The wide variety was my idea already last year, because we have a lot of members who have a wide variety of making their models and figures. And the painted figures in the group build are also from different manufacturers, periods and painting styles.

For the gras I use vlies from Heki. http://www.heki-kittler.de/decoflies.htm This is really a good choise. It is not very cheep but it works. :yeah:

Wow, that was really fast. Long live German-Croatian postal service :xd:

@Remco, don't worry. My figures are so ugly that I forgot to take pictures.

Hooray! The reinforcements arrived in good order.

Did my packing technique work to preserve their paint jobs? Can't wait to see the completed GB...
