Real eye candy and an unusual subject to see.

Me? I never paint modern subjects. Although these figures are excellent and maybe I could buy just a few... ;-)

Hi,

another bunch of figures for my Rhodesian Bush War range.

These are the mighty Selous Scouts, a unit create to fight the guerrillas their own way, infiltrating inside Zambia and Mozambique to gather information and attack Zanla and Zipra camps. This was an elite unit, with a rigorous selection test, even by SAS standards.

All figures are metal, made by Under Fire Miniatures, except one, which is an old plastic ESCI from his Cold War NATO set with a head swap. The Under Fire figures comes from their Selous Scouts set (8), Rhodesian Light Infantry set (2) and Generic Modern Militia (2). This last two are a bit inaccurate, wearing a too modern version of kit and AK-47's. But because most of the Selous troopers wore non regulation uniform, kit or weapons, and due to the 1:72 scale that helps a lot to hide small details I think I can live with it... :-D
