Les Amours ...

A wonderful work, and in restrospect I think this was one of the major influences that inspired me to try my own winter scene. Many thanks for rescuing this beautiful contribution from the Photobucket curse!

Modelling elevated to art in my opinion.

Best wishes,

Just beautiful! The sculpting, the painting, the tiny specks of snow on the figures...

Just superb work. Clever title as well. Extra credit for correct Kalmuk saddlery. Took some digging to find that info I know.

Wow, Egbert! I never could see the pictures of the 2016 original post because then and now they are not visible for me. :(

But it was worth waiting for, because the current photo report has left me speechless ... both for the impressive quality of the conversions and for the originality of the scene, the superb work of painting and the amazing final result.

This only confirms what I already knew: you are a conversion master. :yeah:

My very best congratulations, mate. ;-)

Santi.

This represent another level of conversions, really they are almost new figures.
Egbert, congratulations¡

The arrow from a composite bow could be quick and deadly,
and if poked into excrement before use the arrow could cause a festering septic wound.
Slow painful and very deadly.

Upon a lighter note Egbert,
It is Great to be able to see your pictures again. Yes my heating has been turned up. BB
