Posted by Arekmaximus on 01 Feb 2016, 16:07

Hello,
I would like to present my new diorama "Issos 333 BC".
The scene shows the moment of the battle, when the Persian King Darius III escapes from the battlefield. Greek cavalry chasing his chariot, while on the other page the Macedonian phalanx it comes to the river bank. While the chariot of the Persian King escapes across the river, Persian heavy cavalry is trying to block the passage of through the ford on the river, to delay the Greek army and thus allow escape their Commander...

In memory of o.Robert Pawlak "Zwierzak" (1.02.1976-13.01.2015).

Very surprisingly colorful, the watereffect is smashing indeed, very creative and well done. Good to see a little story is told about the escape of this coward calling himself the King of Kings.
I must say, It looks all so joyfull with these bright colors, we almost forget the dramatic content of this scene.
