Some excellent, very sweet and colorful paintingwork again. I admire your very personal style a lot. The duo toned paint dots keep fascinating me.

Fantastic conversions and painting!

Mars figures certainly do have character, although as pointed out in earlier discussion in this thread the sculpting and poses of some of their figures means that parts of some boxes are un-useable. That is, unless major surgery is undertaken: I have been finding this lately with many of their TYW sets.

I'd be interested to know how long one of your outstanding conversions takes, and also the origin of some of the weaponry (which appears not to be Mars, but is perhaps Tumbling Dice or similar??)

Wonderful modelling and creativity.

You certainly have a talent for bringing out the best in Mars figures. Some of these are very interesting, I think one of the swashbucklers would make an excellent Guido Fawkes.

The idea of a 17th Century Indiana Jones made me smile.

Hello M.P.
your figures are nice conversions and sculptures. It is really nice to make ones own figures, a real dream. Just doing what you want. I had the chance to participate at the FIGZ workshop in 2019 given by Mr Cryns and I must say I liked it a lot. However, one- or at least I - needs quite a bit of practice to reach a good standard. No time for me. The more I appreciate your sculptures and they are creative, too. Central and Eastern European people in their clothing are a very attractive subject - and you add your own topics .
Fine work - fine stuff
Greetings Michael

Thank you :), most of the current Mars sets IMHO are unusable. I keep buying their older sets (I have like 15 boxes of Polish Paholki and 3-4 boxes eastern mercenaries, Wallachians and TYW mercenaries in winter dress).

As for the weapons - I've sculpted them :).

Thank you :). I'll be doing more of these kind - Machete, maby Sex Machine from from Dusk Till Dawn.

Thank you :), try it, I've started with small conversions and gradually started doing more extensive ones :).

For today I have a Venetian warband consisting of two Venetian nobles and their Dalmatian/Uskok bodyguard. All based on contemporary engravings by Caesare Vecello and Giacomo Franco.

This time Švejk from "The Good Soldier Švejk" by Jaroslav Hašek in early XVIIth century attire. Montero cap might be a bit of a strech for my project's period, which is set in the first decade of the XVIIth century, while proofs for monteros are from late 1620s, but It suits Svejk well :).
