1/72 EL Viejo Dragon-German Panzer Crew (C72/2) (IMG&Review)

It is good to be back after quite a long absence and I hope you shall enjoy the review and images of El Viejo Dragon’s white metal “German Panzer Crew (C72/2)” which can be accessed here:

http://www.ww2germans.com/index.php/com ... -c72-2-ext

Out-of-production and hard to find nowadays, this set brought on the market some lifelike poses in a period when the offer on the topic was fairly limited. Later on and under the same name, the company has released another set with less number of poses and with three of them based on miniatures from the first ones and a comparison image has been included here, too. An interesting aspect of the set here linked is that three of its standing poses are inspired by Tamya’s 1/35 “German Tank Crew at Rest”.

Vehicles appearing in the images are the work of my very good friend Cristi Atanasiu, as usual.

Thanks for doing another excellent review. These figures are sure to improve many an armor display.

Many thanks Bill for your message, soon I intend more tankers that have some links with few of the poses from here, but it is not about the second EVD set on the topic because that I have reviewed few years ago....:)

Awesome work. My favorite of the bunch is last photo, bottom row, center. I love the pose and really like the way you reached a realistic black.

Thank you, and indeed, along the years I tried more blacks until I set to this one, Revell 8 I also thin this is the one fits best to represent the black Panzer attire..:)
