When the heap of mail arrived today I had looked at Mrs B collecting it from the Mailman, and thought I`ll open it later. However,I did not,and so the unpacking begain. I had spied a large cardboard box,and I was determined to leave it till the very last, and I was convinced it had to be my vintage 1960`s Cow Boy set that I`d recently bought. As it turned out, that box contained a Great Treasure of a Gift from our friend blucher.

I thought it only right to place it here in his Topic while there is still active interest in it. I have always admired bluchers work, but never thought he`d send me some. Great!
This ,The Slopes of Waterloo, will go onto the new shelving in the HoneyWell room and take Pride of Place there.

Thank you so much Chris ,it is such a special gift to have in my collection.

I thought the groundwork was magnificent, and really captured the look of a rain-soaked field. Got a bunch of my votes too.

Dear Blucher : when I see those pictures (maybe some of them could have have been better for the comp' ? ), I think :"no Pascal ! it's impossible ! this artist had a better work than yours !! " .

You've made a great gift to Beano/Paul : I can't send or even give you a bronze brush... but I would be really happy that both of us have this brush... :eh:
Peter, could you help me ?

Congrats my friend ! :notworthy: I hope to meet you again in this peaceful battle-field ! :horse:

Dear Pascal,

if it would have been a draw, I would have said yes for two bronze brushes. But now, the answer has to be no. The members of this forum decided that your entry deserved the bronze brush. So be it! ;-)
