Filipinas War

Posted by Lacc on 18 Apr 2014, 19:10

Hello everyone!
I upload two links to two dioramas 1/72 and 1/35 you made my friend Jorge Fano for a medical military museum.
Are inspired by the Battle of Baler, Filipinas war 1889-1899.
I hope you like
Alfredo

Both dioramas are excellent and to a very high display standard.
The pics give some idea of the 1/72nd scale building process but I couldn't find anything about the figures used. I recognised some Revell and others heavily modified. I liked the larger scale hospital diorama especially that each had a different shrine.
Nice work indeed
Is it Jorge Fano of Zaragoza? I think we have seen his work before if not it was maybe another member of the AGRUPACIÓN ARTÍSTICA ARAGONESA.

Hello friends !
I'm glad you liked the photos.
Peter: I have not voted yet, now I'll see the works. ;-)
David: Jorge and I live in Zaragoza, but we are not partners AGRUPACION ARTISTICA ARAGONESA today.
With some friends founded the private club GRUPO MODELISTICO TERCIO ARAGONES a year ago. This is the link to our forum tercioaragones.foroactivo.com
Both did the diorama "hussars of death" :winky:

Very interesting diorama :) . The figures look very lively. What brand are the figures? are they conversions?

Dear all,
All figures are conversions of Zevda, Bum, etc.
Jorge and me saw in" plastic soldier review" what kind of figures are good for this great work.
