More for the Sudan

Posted by Fire at Will on 26 Mar 2013, 08:46

Or should I say Moors in the Sudan? As my latest Dervish command teams are made using the Hat Moorish Command Set

Then selection of British and Egyptian command stands, much needed as my forces have increased and I never used command stands for my NW frontier forces that I am partly using for the Sudan. In the background is a converted Airfix GWW1 stretcher team.

Some Egyptian cavalry to add a bit of tone, or perhaps to lower it. Nice 1877 Turkish cavalry figures from Strelets, the officer got promoted.

Finally more casualty markers for Black Powder

Finally those flat ESCI Zulu Wars Brits poses come in handy: laid out face down, they make pretty darn good casualties! Those poor dead are still clutching their rifles, God rest their souls.

An interesting subject, and very well painted.  Those strelets figures really work well as Egyptian cavalry!
