Egyptian Javelin Thrower (Acrylic on Acrylic)

Here's another figure from Zvezda 8051, Ancient Egyptian Infantry (http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.aspx?id=1206. I actually used a somewhat different technique for this figure as I was experimenting with the skin color. I was going for a nice tanned color, and I think I got pretty close. I do need to work a little more on getting the shading just right.

If anybody's interested I can whip up a quick tutorial with pictures on how I achieved the effect that I did (just let me know Benno ).

Thanks for all of the praise guys. And dykio, at the rate I'm painting I'll finish the box by the time I retire . But seriously though, I painted this figure in one sitting, one of the advantages of acrylics. I used to paint with just enamels, but I have to say I'm loving acrylic paint!!
