Indian Armed With M-1 Rifle

These two American Indians were done by me for a post WWII lost world scenario. The one with the bow and arrow is a torso from one figure and a lower body from another. The one with the rifle had his lever action rifle cut off and an M-1 Garand taken from a US Army figure. 1/72nd scale plastic figures.

The buildings are from Hudson and Allen in foam. I posted more photos on my blog http://bunkermeister.blogspot.com/

I like doing simple figure conversions and I wish that more companies made plastic figures that will glue with regular model glue.

I didn't think you painted your figures Mike, so it's good to see some with paint on. What figures did you use?

Typically I don't paint figures. We were planning a lost world game and we had to have a party of about 20 figures and they had to be painted.

The Indians are Imex and Revell, from their Souix Indians figure sets. I forget which is which in terms of specific parts of specific figures.

The bow and arrow guy is a lower half from a standing figure and the upper half from a horseback figure. I wanted him in full buckskin.

The M-1 rifle guy had an Esci / Italeri US Army M-1 grafted on from a standing rifleman.

The scenario took place in 1945 just after WWII and I wanted a couple American Indians in native dress, but one of them with modern weapons.
