Colonial rules?

Posted by Wolfie65 on 26 Apr 2011, 14:03

I am working on some Foreign Legionnaires, with Bedouins coming up.
The legion even has a fort.....
I'm guessing 'colonial' period rules might be the most appropriate, size of game would be the 'kitchen table' variety, so maybe about 100 or so figures per side, on average.

Any rules set suggestions?

Have a look around for Science vs Pluck...they always played well but I think they need an umpire to run properly...Principles of War colonial rules are pretty good as well

Perhaps this one is useful. Read very positive comments about it on TMP.

I would recommend Black Powder. These rules are simply fantastic...
