New Rulebooks from Warhammer Historical (Forge World)

Posted by Bert on 12 Jul 2011, 22:30

It was a long wait for new books from Warhammer Historical to arrive. Just now Forge World (owner of Warhammer Historical) brought 2 new rule books out on the market. One book is called WATERLOO but it seems to cover the complete Napoleonic period and GLADIATOR (looks like a kind of Skirmish Game, perhaps in the style of Legends of the West and Legends of the High Seas).

Forge World says it will have a third new Rule Book comming out soon. Haven't got a clou what period or theme it will cover, but it looks like it will be a Warhammer Historical rulebook (but no expansion of their range of Warhammer Ancient Battles supplements).

Hello there,

Warhammer Historical (now owned by ForgeWorld) has released yet another rule book. This time it is a supplement to their Great War (WW1) rule book. The new supplement is called Over the Top.

I have the Waterloo rules. It's a gorgeous book with lots of pictures and information.

It's Army lists only cover the battle of Waterloo it's self i.e British, French, Prussian, and the armies that fought in the Iberian Penninsula Campaigns. Missing are the Russians, Austrian, and a bunch of the Confederation of the Rhine Armies. However it states in the book that the Russian and Austrians army lists are coming. Just had the first learning game last weekend...
