The Combat at Sabugal, April 3rd, 1811

I wrote this scenario over the past month and got to play it out last week with a couple of friends. Because there was a lot of hidden movement as a result of the rain and fog, I refereed. It was fun to take a rule set, in this case Over the Hills, and tweak so it could do what you need it to do for an unconventional battle such as this.
The full report and link to the scenario is on my blog, but here are a few of my favourite shots from the action, with a bit of cheesy Photoshop fog effects added in for atmosphere. Someone suggested one man with a cigar could have achieved the same effect!

Fine and inspiring stuff, and as always the scenery of your peninsular battlefields looks so very convincing. I also like the photoshop fog effects...indeed, the 'fog of war'!

Thanks all - this fight really did have "the fog of war" at work!
Peter, I don't think Sharpe was there - as per usual he was probably swanning around with a fictitious regiment of redcoats on a completely different part of the battlefield.
