If you go down to the Woods today

Posted by Ochoin on 27 Mar 2020, 02:15

Having finally been "rested" from my job, I thought a break from assembling & painting Prussian SYW figures was in order.

I decided a wooded area might be useful for any European conflict but particularly as a place to hide my ECW Highlanders who, are vulnerable to Horse but if allowed to charge out of a Wood, can be quite nasty.

At any rate, from tree to rocky outcrop: all my own work.

Thank you, sir. And the same to you & your family.

I am in perfect health but staying at home until, at least, my job starts again in some as yet unknown time period. I have quite a stack of books to get read, many figures to paint and a few household projects to complete.

The down side is wargaming will be solo for the duration. :(

Thanks, Chris. We have our teddy bear fur modular terrain for our Show & big games (ie not unlike your efforts) but this is for the terrain cloth & throw terrain down-type games. Not as nice looking but far quicker to set out, pull down & to store.

The forest looks quite small and nice, but I like a lot and it does do the job! Stay safe and let's hope this soon will be over.
