I read your emotional story in German.
As (Nutella und Turnschuh Generation) from the, nut nougat creme and sneaker generation, grow up with Star Wars.
I stay with you that the three computer program films are BAD.
The last too are much better. But all worked always too good.
Remember, The empire strikes back. Lost her base at Hot. Luke is not jet an Jedi. Han is catch by Boba Fet frozen in carbonite.
All went bad.
And we all (be a JEDI too) are ready for the rescue.
THE RETURN OF THE JEDI.

A simple but for this time best possible done space fable.
This two films need each other.
For me the best STAR WARS films till now.

So we, the JEDI start to buy (very hard, low pocket money) and very important to swap figure.
Playmobil or Play Big figure for the one from Star Wars. Or buy used one.
In the big break at school.
At home we play the story with some new aspects.
We build with shoe boxes, paper, glue stations like at Hot. One of my friends build electrical light inside for each room! Powered by a nine Volt battery.
Jabba the Hutt was a problem. Not affordable at this time. But ...
The throne was a several time folded soft cloth. On that we put our sleeping cat ...
If you need that the tail move, touch her soft ...

At this time these figure was one of the most important material things to me.
How things change in live. I give all my treasury (approx. a dozen) to my nephews.

This (clearly seen battle experienced) LOM-4 that I did not see in any Star Wars film I liked most.
My lone survivor.

Well I understand you since I as kid always wanted a Star Wars figures, but there wasn't any, so I made a trick. I took ordinary soldiers and sprayed them with silver spray and painted their pants, helmets and other things with blue. I had impression they were star wars. Imagination at that age is great, but it fades away with years.
