Chariot conversions

Posted by Ochoin on 04 Jan 2017, 02:16

I have Caesar & Newline NKE chariots but I like variety. I acquired a set of the old Atlantic Egyptian chariots. They needed work......
new wheels
axle replaced with a longer length of wire & moved to rear
additional detail on the chariot body
driver given a whip

Still a bit "toy-like" but not too bad.

There are nice and well painted figures, but sorry to say that still your new wheels aren´t egyptian. Their wheels were far more slim. Unfortunatly I can´t give you any hint where you can find such slim wheels.

I tried! Baeda *used* to make metal ones just for this conversion...but had sold out & weren't going to make more.

The ones I used were simply HaT plastic ones with half the spokes cut out.

Well Ochion, I just want to say you improved these chariots a lot already by widening their axles and using bigger wheels. You can always change the wheels again if you find better ones.
