Not Fontenoy: a SYW battle

Some photos from our annual Australia Day game.

We used the Fontenoy battleground for a final trial of our SYW rules, 'A Glorious War'.

Set up:

The French proudly move to their positions whilst the nefarious Prussians wait to pounce:

Instead of staying on a defensive footing, the French cavalry charge (to their destruction):

Their centre shattered, the French had their right flank rolled up.

i bet that was a quite a Fun Day Occasion setting the table top up,with all those figures,and then playing the Game. Cool Battle Report. :thumbup: My Regards to the others guys too.
