This is duel nr.74 folks!

The rules this time were:

One medieval foot figure, any base, any background.

You have a week to choose your winner. Once again gentlemen take your places and may the best painter win.
Please leave comments after the duel has finished

Long time ago Thomas Dürrschmidt was in a duel, but it was worth waiting.
He did win this medieval duel, and Cole wasn't strong enough..
Maybee the choice of pictures did it, because both entries where good.

But in this case Thomas did win on a distance...

So congratulations to Thomas, and thanks for dueling both of you!
Who will be next to duel....

I think if the lighting was better on the Flemish Knight it would have done better, I liked that one despite the dark pics better myself.

Congrats to both of you  Very nice entries  (guess on who I voted?)

@Cole: did you an auto correction on the pictures? It would make them much clearer.

It was the pics that let you down Cole...nice little duel and most unexpected entry from Thomas :-)

Thank you for your comments. And thanks Cole for motivating me to go on duel again.

It was not an easy decision which heraldry I should give to that fig. I painted it after Rolf Fuhrmann´s book "Der Deutschorden". The Sergeants (or called Sarjant) had no T-Crosses on their clothing or shields, which is shown so often. Only the "Halbbrüder" (half brothers) wore the T-cross on their official cape. But they didn´t join the fights. (if the book is right).
