Jiří's figure is a real masterpiece. The face is fantastic. I ended with less time than I thought I could have, so had to rush to finish painting in time and took photos in less then 5 min, so my figure did not come out as I would, but, given enough time, I don't think I could have painted my fig up to his standard
Jiří apparently uses black priming which produces the typical blacklining, which is a technique I don't use (mostly for naps, which have so much white  ), but his figure made me think I should try...

Thanks for duel Francesco. You´ve done very well with so few time to finish.
I did a mistake with paint him a gloves
Francesco i used white primer spray than did color basecoat and blacklining over it. Now when making rest of them
i try to do blacklining less expressive.
Peter: I am using this acrylic colours http://www.koh-i-noor.cz/imagepopup.php?photo=goods/162703.jpg

Paul: they are cheap,200czk it´s about 8 euros. But quality is no big deal. For example black has very bad pigmentation and covering power,
I use it only for darkening shades. Also light green is unusable, but other tones are good enough.
I haven´t tried profesional miniature paints as Citadel,Vallejo or Andrea colors yet, but I think they are much superior to this.

Peter: you are welcome ;-)

Thanks for the info. I find that some vallejo colours are basically for the price...i shall not beat arount the bush...Crap!!! Thier blue (7369) the same tone as the P3 cygnar blue does not cover at all!!same as their vermillion. I think that the price is by name only...I bought 7 different colours at the DUZi cos the were cheap but have had no joy from them. I might try oil paint as there seems to be some pretty inexpensive sets about.

Try the HowardHues line Paul they are quite good with coverage and thin down well with water they are not as thick as Derivan and their blues don't run. I have most of their line and so far I have not found a problem like you described above, I still use Vallejo model colors. They are available from RLBS.com ( you can see their paint chips there too ) they mix well with the Vallejo too.
