And that was our 50th duel folks :-D
The winner is Francesco, who was up against the man who has the most duels on his name: Paul.

I must say, these are both very detailed, and good painted.
Thanks for dueling guys, and congratulation to Francesco, but also for Paul.

These are both very good painted  And I believe you Paul when you say this figure was hard to paint. I see a lot of small little details

Congrats to both of you for again a very nice duel

both are excellently done, and it did remind me of my attempt at these Polish winged Hussars took a looooong time to do (and in 15mm yet) only difference between these and mine is that my feathers were a three color mix. unfortunately I wish my camera could do them justice.
Again Well done on some pretty intricate and colorful figures, now all that's left is to do a couple dozen more hehe.

Well done both of you. It was the leopard skin that swung my vote in the end.

Thanks for the compliments and congrats, and to Paul in particular for the idea :lamp:
We both did some research that brought us to opposite results :joker: : the flag was red over white or the opposite ? The helm covered the cheeks or not ?
Since every hussar had to wear some kind of maculated skin (the fashion... :-D ) and this one hasn't any (Zvezda error ?), I made one with some green stuff. But I am going to re-paint it, as the spots are too large and far apart for a leopard skin  .
Anyway, painting it was great fun and I wouldn't have done it if it weren't for Paul
