And the winner is: Piers (Big P from GMG) with a suberb PAK German artillery.
He was up against Paul, who was this time a few years ahead.
A nice subject, but ever nicer to see what you guys made out of it.
Concratulations to the both of you!

The only thing I can say now: who is next to Duel ;-)

First I thought Big P´s gun is out of scale. But that is the reason why the German soldiers called this gun "Scheunentor" (barndoor) :-)

Congrats for this superb work (also on the Splittermuster-camo). And also cheers to Paul for his very good painted RHA (superb blacklining).

Having stood next to one, the thing is huge! It was so big, few gun tractors could be used to pull it. 21st Panzer had to use old French Laffly Artillery Tractors to pull theirs as they had nothing else suitable. Next to build will be the two Reverisco Laffly tractors to pull the two guns I have done!

Congratulations to both of you mates! Both are my most admired active members of forums (I knew Piers from the Guild). Both artillery pieces are greatly done and it was difficult to choose. Piers' artillery men look the business as always, hope they mark points with this awesome gun over the game table. But I think Paul did a particularly good job on these old airfix soft-plastic little men, the whole team looks steady and fierce! BTW I didn't find anything wrong with the blacklining (if there are any) ;-) . They look impeccable.
