What a nice idea, the people doing a dance, or the student strike in Paris.
This month theme is one to do in December as well, very good I must say.

This time Paul (who else) was with his dancers against the winner of this duel:
Chen with a scene in Paris.

Concratulations to the both of you, I liked them both a lot!
Chen, you dit put emotion in your entry, awesome.
and Paul, in yours the spring feeling is there, suberb.

And thank you, all 45 voters

Well done Chen, a great job at capturing the feel of a dramatic time in French history. And to Paul too, nice (and a lot less bloody) use of those figures.

Congrats Chen, both with the victory and with the birthday :)

Both very unusual entries, well done

@ Paul, did you sculpt your own figures?

Thank you good mates, and especially Paul. :-) I like very much your dancing vignette because it just shows how nice the time of May could be (sunshine, flowering season and the joy). You put it in a very emotional way.

Mai 68 appeals to me a very interesting history, and I came up with the idea of doing a 1/72 vignette after having seen Bertolluci's film "the Dreamers", though at first the idea was much more violent than it turns out now. The composition now is inspired by this photo showing the famous photographer Cartier Bresson looking at a slogan during Mai68.

But I changed the slogan with another one "under the pavement, the sand beach". ;-)

At last, thank you again for your votes and appreciations.
BTW, since years I'm having the first birthday during which I don't need to prepare for exams! Oooui!

I really loved the dancers and still do! It is a really really great piece of work    (Chen's is good too, but I love the dancers!). Have something similar in my WIP-map called Midsummer and adding Zvezda's dancer with a bottle instead of the weapon. And now I don't have to do it!

Both were great. I am not very familiar with post WW2 history of France. But nevertheless a smashing piece of work. It got my vote. But I also liked Pauls dancers in the spring sun.
