Even Paul had tried to do 2 duels at the same time, it didn't work out for him.. His entry Curtain Call didn't make it against the winner Heil Mary made by João (GEM)

Must say the both where super ideas, full of action, and joy to watch!

Well done guys

I have to send my congrats to Paul managing 2 duels is not easy. still I was delayed to this duell because of the other duel with Rich. Gr8 stuff Paul.

I would like the opinion of everybody on the graves and statue. these are my latest originals, and I'm already casting it in resin. so any coments are welcome good or bad

Congrats GEM and Paul. (um 31th? 31st hehe )
this one too took a long time to decide. Well Done

As for the grave markers etc I like them although you might want to make them in a little less than perfect condition, i.e. a little crumbly around some corners stuff like that. I myself not being a sculptor I don't know if that's possible but its an idea.

Well in tombstones the masters are made in PVC. the ones in the little dio of the duel are already copies in resin.
I wanted to make them clean because the people who eventually might want to buy it can transform it. Is easy to chip the resin, corners etc.

The will be a 2nd part to the cemetery with more tombstones and cemetery Vaults.

The question is would you use it? Would you buy it?

Cheers
João

Hi João,

For everything is a market, also for tombstones.
I think, that the market will not be big.

ah, made out of resin, then I can see that my suggestion is kind of redundant although you might think about making a second set like I originally said though. (for the ones who don't like messing up a model).

Thanks João for the duel
The fun about these duells is "stretching" myself by doing stuff I normally wouldn´t :-)

Well Martin when I made them I was thinking acessories for dioramas or for wargames. I was thinking on a complement for the Italeri Church. When I did the reserch I found that most of the churchs that were somehow part of the action in France (mainly Normandy) had a cemetery.

When I can I will post the pictures of the tombstones and the little statue on the blister, as well as the Big statue..

By the way the grass and the base are also mine. the only thing in the model that wasn't made by me was the 3 figures (2 by revell 1 by Italeri)

Cheers

Ps- @ Paul - Thank you. I will have to do again. I'm hooked at this duel stuff.
