Here is the 15th duel folks, I apologize to the "anonymous" competitors for the delay in hosting and blame my own incompetence for this outrage.

The rules are again very simple: One foot figure with simple basing from the competitors second favourite era.

You have a week to choose your winner. Once again gentlemen take your places and may the best painter win.
Please leave comments until after the duel has finished

Well done Cole, a great entry. I like the blood on the sword.

And the Afrika Corp's grenade thrower is one of my favourite figures of that set, and as per usual, Thomas has done a great job on bring him to life.

I think this was the first poll ever that I restrained from voting.

Both very nice entries in recognizable styles (which speak for their authors imo). Congrats to both and especially to Cole on his first victory on this forum (not in the judo gym :-) ). May many others follow!

With some minor changes. :-)

And a big thank you to Thomas for being a great opponent again. 8)

P.S. He will be in my wargaming army.

Hi Guys,

first a big "thank you" to the people who voted for me and also cheers to Cole for his kind words.

Congratulations Cole. This was a fine victory. I think I want some revanche (or revenge) for this some day.

I have the dim feeling to give some of you a bit of satisfaction with this defeat. Can´t help myself. ;-)

Truly a modern world.
