No, it was Italeri that forced me to place the figs where they are. Especially the guy aiming the gun. ;-)

Well how the heck would they fire the things?? Surely you have to get in at the back to load, aim and fire the things at some point or is everyone jumping in and out like helmeted frogs ?? :?

the aiming figs is quite correct for direct fire..is only the barrel of the piece that recoil not all the piece..
this from the indroduction of the idraulic recoil brake.. :-D

Ah, but you can tell clearly from the pictures that they are in the process of loading the guns, and not actually firing it. So there's no way of telling if they might not have stepped back before the guns were fired on our vignettes. So there :tongue: :tongue: :tongue:
