This is duel nr.198 folks!

The rules this time were:

- French Infantry of the Hundred Years War - Zvezda set 8053
- 5 figures !!!!
- 10 pictures

Because of the big amount of figures, I will put the same figures together.
First dueler #1 and then dueler #2
This time you can choose all the best figures, that means 5 votes!!!!!

You have a week to choose your winner.
Once again gentlemen take your places and may the best painter win.
Please leave comments after the duel has finished

And a big duel came to a end, and the votes did make it more interesting.
Dueler #2 is the all over winner
His best figure was #2
And his name is Leonid Kireev
He was up against Pedro (Escobar)
His best figure was #1
A big hurray to Leonid, but also to Pedro.
So many figures, I touhgt to get crazy with all those mails
Thanks guys, a job well done, and interesting to see those different painting stiles!

What a very unique duel. I have never seen one like that. I really liked all ten figures.

Escobar has shown us a closer up view and also the faces of his guys. All of his figures are really well done. I prefer the photo style and blank backgrounds when judging a duel. My favotites of his are the first two. Faces are tough to do well at this scale, and these sculpts may not have the best faces to begin with.

I voted for all five entries of Leonid. I gave no credit for the battlements in the background, although they are very cool. But I prefered his guys ultimately because the details are sharper, the metals are better executed, and the shading on the cloth garments is just superb.

Thanks for dueling to both, and keep 'em coming!

Congratulations Leonid for a very good win against a very good opponent.

With so many pictures to look at I didn't spend too much time analysing, I went for quick decisions and first impressions played a big part. I wasn't much help in deciding the result though, I gave two votes to Pedro (1&3), two votes to Leonid (2&5), and I thought figure 4 was a draw, I still can't really decide which one I like best.

Two different styles but all of the figures look great!
