Here are two more excellent entries for the fourth duel! These two combatants set themselves the following challenge:

- Both entrants to paint one Ceasar Mitanni chariot with 5 crew (= one sprue)
- Mounted on a piece of scenery no larger then 10x10cm
- Entries are to be judged on painting and presentation, historical accuracy is less important, as there is little known about what the Mitanni looked like, as long as it looks believable and realistic

You have a week to choose your winner. Once again gentlemen take your places and may the best painter win.
Please leave comments until after the duel has finished

Congratulations Maurice, superb work on this chariot. I voted for you. Good groundwork and presentation aswell. Paul, your work was also very good but unfortunately the photo was not very sharp and clear. Otherwise I would probably have voted for you.

If not for Maurice's better photos it would have been difficult to tell which one is the better. Now with Paul's new cam that is going to change, for sure.

Not my period, but very nice work on the metallics, among other things.

I liked the metallics and the groundwork better on Paul's. Yours was wxcellent, Maurice, but Paul's seemed to "fit". ;-)

Congrats Maurice!

They both look good, but there can be only one winner! Congrats Maurice

@Paul: what are you doing with that camera? There is always or a green, or red dawn on the pictures. Can't you make clear pictures with that new toy?

Greetings Peter

Thanks to those who voted for me

That is, who voted for me because they actually liked my entry better and who did not just do so because of the better quality photo :?

Thanks, I can't help you with the photos, haven't got them anymore.

No new duel for now, busy working on some 1/35 stuff at Armorama.

@ Paul, to be honest, if I had not been your opponent, I would have voted for you ;)

Mine was a rush job, with the base, the chariot and the horses all done in the last 36 hours or so. Your figs looked better, and I saw them in real life
