And another duel against mr.X has ended...
until the end a exciting duel with 2 winners!
Mr. X was up against Deon with this flag carrier theme.
A job well done, again a cool duel this was!

Congratulations to the both of you!

Yes it was really cool and incredible closed duel!
Both painters had quite different painting-styles and comparable qualities.
One personal wish: Please present us in future better photos of the duelling miniatures that we can really study and appreciate better your works!

A very interesting topic! Both modelers have their own style of course. The flag of Deon is abstract art, but the crisper photo let me vote for Mr.X!

Too few votes. Pity, this duel was great and deserves more votes.

Thank you to Mr X for the duel and to those who voted - I will try to get better photos next time. i notice Mr X painted some very tiny details on the bottom of the trousers - excellent work :) Also many thanks to Remco for dealing with my last minute photos and submission!

A good duel. Two different figures and two different styles. And a well deserved draw as a result.

When I first opened this thread all I could see was Mr. X's flag, and what a beautifully painted flag it is. I thought "this will be hard to beat".

Then I scrolled down and saw another beautifully painted flag in a very different style.

I nearly tossed a coin to decide but Deon's Impressionist style just edged it for me.
