Well this was the first duel of the new mr. X against the old first mr.X...
Yeah he was up against my good friend Peter who started the mr. X idea.

Now who was the winner, sorry Peter it wasn't you...
Our new mr. X did win his first monthly duel!!!
Congratulations to mr. X a job well done, 83% can't mis I would say.
A nice entry, especially the second picture was much better quality!

Maybe the title "私は、集束滞在するんです!" scared voters off Peter
it seems to say "I've got to stay focused!" in English.
But never the less, a cool entry and nice you took the first month.
(with such a loss I feel a rematch coming)

I would like to thank the 28 voters besides me for making the duel more fun!

Now who is willing to take a duel against mr. X?
We are looking for March, April....
Look at the list here
mail me at bfduel@gmail.com...
There must be someone who can beat him I guess...

Congrats from me as well. It was a very unusual topic in my eyes. Very interesting.

I am also very happy that we have a Mr X this year too! And (sorry Peter, I do like you and your work, but) it is very nice that Mr X gets to win his/her first duel! So good start! Both figures are very nice and I have no idea which I voted on.

Did I loose? OMG! :eh:

No I wanted to kick of this series of duels with the new Mr X, like I did last year with the previous Mr X! That I loose this one doesn't matter! It was fun!

Congrats Mr X with your win and I wish you a very good year! ;-)

And thanks to all who voted!

Hard to choose this time... I think the result does not show how close it really was...

I was surprised by the vote spread, too. I thought Peter's entry was actually pretty good. His photo was much more straight-forward compared to Mr. X's entry.

So this was my very first duel as Mr. X. I was mentally prepared to lose all 12 duels in 2017, so this was a pleasant surprise.

I think the key for me was finding a good color to paint the uniform. After quite a bit of research! This is vallejo middle stone if I recall correctly. I had a reverse of the second, superior photo, but after looking carefully I saw that all the paint got knocked off of the pistol, so I reverted to an earlier shot.

My opponent, Peter, let me choose the figure for this duel. It was quite a start.
