Well Guys, this was the november duel.
This time a win for mr. X with 14 votes, he was up against Aaron (Bluefalchion) who collected 10 votes.
A shame not more members would click on a favorite in this nice duel.
For the 23 other voters, thanks for your participation.
For Mr. X and Aaron, thanks guys, it was fun again, and a close call every day during the duel.
Congratulation mr. X with your win, but also Aaron well done!!

Congrats to Mr. X.

It was my first Napoleonic since the 1980s. I was really happy with the way my figure turned out. The pics, unfortunately, did not do him justice. Thanks for all who voted in this duel, especially the ones who voted for entry no. 2!

I voted for Bluefalchion; he was somehow penalized by the close-up, but I see too much of dry-brushing on Mr. X figure. Yet, it's been another nice duel. Congrats to both! and congrats to the 24 voters!
And pity we missed the October duel.

I thought the same. And the work on the face made my decision for Bluefalchion!

I thought a very interesting figure to paint, and I`m glad I took a few seconds out to view both of them.
So Congratulations Mr X,    a good win by 4.

I voted for the close up view too, by Bluefalchion. Well done.

This duel reminded me of the figures that I myself tried hard to paint many years ago from that very same Hat Box Set. I believe they are still hiding out in one corner of the toy room ,and the dinted dusty box is well cobwebbed over next to a very large Spider who insisted he trim up early for the oncoming festive season. :-D BB

Tricky one to choose which I liked best. Bad luck to Bluefalchion, both were excellently painted figs but the face on his was particularly fine I thought.
