And another duel came to a end.
This time Mickey Mouse (Michael) could promote his cool figures from Hagen Miniatures.
Unfortunately was winning the duel not his result, but a cool vignette it was.
Maybe with better photo's a few more votes had helped him.
And who was the winner of this duel, well this is really a big surprise...
It was Zed1 (Sasha) who did only Nappies as far as I know.
This was really a big surprise and a fantastic vignette, a job well done!!!
I already told him to skip the Nappies, and show us more work like this.
I don't know if these uniforms are so accurate as his others, but I am impressed.
A fun duel, and both of you thanks for making this possible!!
lets hope this will be a example for more painters here on the forum.

I thought I recognized the style, but I could never guess that it was Sasha! This was another cool duel with nice entries. Huge congrats to both duelists!

I think it was very unusual for Sascha, not his favorite topic. But instead of a lot of buttons and other Nappy stuff he has to paint the camo. Maybe this is a fair compensation. And also well done by Michael. I like the idea to produce these small scene for the event you are most interested in.

Thank you very much for the nice words, gentlemen and thanks to Michael for these great Hagen miniatures and the idea for this duel. :-D

In fact, I'm really not that deep in this matter, so it was my biggest problem to find out how these figs have to be painted and I swear that although it was fun doing something that unusual (in my cathegories), that camo-thing was really sort of a problem for me.

I know the problem, Sascha! You can go as far as you want with the camo. And ofcourse, the type of camo does matters. Was this a one time of, or has it raised your curiousity?

For once I could recognize both contributors. Sascha's style can be recognized Always if you have a good look at his other work. And when there are para's involved, Mickey can't be far away! :-D

Great job, both of you! :thumbup:

@Peter:
Meaning that I could also paint red orcs and you would always recognize who has done it?
I must change something about my style... :eh:

@Michael:
At least, I don't think that I'm so strictly tied to one subject anymore. There are too many other things that have caught my eyes in the recent time. As - for example - Alex' modern figures or even that WW2 stuff. Who knows?
Btw - I just finished my first tank. ;-)

Do you remember I asked you if you changed your painting style? That's how I saw that this was yours. ;-)

Show that tank! :-D
