This is duel nr.136 folks!

The rules this time were:

The duel against mister Y, who will duel every month..
- no base ;-)
- same set
- montly duel mister Y
- 2 pictures
- Mitannian Mariyannu Chariot


You have a week to choose your winner. Once again gentlemen take your places and may the best painter win.

Well the duel is over, and it's my job to tell you all about who did fight mr. Y...
It was Marc (der Blauwe Wolf) with his cool "Sand & Chariots"
He told me he used 3 or 4 layers pro color, and I must say it looks fantastic!
Mr Y has used lighter colors, and this turned out to be a good choice.
He did win this one, so a big congratulation to him.
But also to Marc to his work of course, and remember dueling is for fun.
Thank you both for dueling, and thank you to the voters!

Congratulations to both. But for me Mr.Y was a worthy winner. A very rare set in this forum. Nice to see.

Thank you both for great duel. It was tough choice. BTW: I like "no base" rule :mrgreen: But that didn't influenced my vote.

These were both great entries and I spent way too much time scrolling back and forth to figure out which one I preferred. Since I had to pick, Mister Y's work was my top choice; easier to see the details, the strung bow, and at this scale painted eyeballs are hard to get quite right. Bravo to both of you!
