This is duel nr.96 folks!

The rules this time were:

Well I did get the pictures from both, and was impressed by the winning entry, but also tought they would get a bit closer on the votes :?

The winner of this duel is Alex (Helveticum) with a perfect small vignette.
He was up against Ben Bob, and even I did like this entry as well, It wasn't strong enough to win.
So I think there will be a revance someday...

Both thanks for dueling, and congratulations on your work.
Alex congratulation on this big victory!

Congratulations to both participants... it was very nice and choice was hard.
Still, better photo of winner's work took my vote, not better paint job.
Comparing just painting and basing quality makes choice very difficult.

Great duel and congrats to both participants. I voted for the first entry because I thought the topic was more original, and well-executed, but I have to say it was not an easy choice.

Aside from my opponent's high quality, I think my biggest problem was lighting. Its in direct sunlight making it too bright and hiding a lot of the detail: I've learned so much since joining the forum but still have a long way to go yet!

damn I missed this duel. both are very good. that was perhaps not as close as I would have thought, both were very good, but I guess that lighting was a factor in the win as you said ben
