After a lot of entries in the painting competition, the time is here for Gunnar (Susofrick)....
Because he did win this duel, in a wild west scene against Pascal (SamSagace)
Two totaly different entries, but both with humor in it!
Well done both, but a verry big hurray for Gunnar

Thanks for dueling, who is next?

Nice work both  Pascal's scenery was awesome, especially the fence and flowers, but I had to vote for Gunar's because of the sheer vibrancy of the scene. Amazing work both. These duels really make our community strive for excellence

.... well... congrats to Gunnar for his amazing and original work!
the mix of different sets/figures is really good with a lot of imagination!
(I recognized: AIRFIX, PREISER, VALDEMAR, but they are some other too!)
I hope that we'll see some closer pictures later: it would be very interesting!

I'd loosed, well I'll come back!
(and even if I'm completely "out" on this duel: I totally assume my work: I like it....
.... but Gunnar's one was better, that's the game! )

I loved both because they were scenes from civilian life. And I especially liked the 'what may come next'-factor of Sams entry. Really funny.

Thanks for the votes! :-D Most of the Preiser figures were painted 15-20 years ago, the Airfix, Strelets, Redbox and Italeri were painted more recently. Didn't use any visible Valdemar here, you will see them on the blog in a while (now! :-D http://gataskog.blogspot.com/2012/02/wild-west-dio.html ). After finishing the houses I can only say: I hate chimneys! :angry3: But the rest went together pretty smooth. Loved Pascal's entry, thought that mine was a little too much.
