Opp`s! A slight mishap our Dog Bella,Gnashed the figures up. Entirely my fault for being clumsy. The rules of engagement of my Bella`s,Wargame is simple,"Anything in the way of deserting troops that hit the floor deserve no Court Martial just a Darn Good Gnashing! " She does not eat them, but pleased as punch, proudly Collects the remains in her basket! So starting again today, the 4 poses of my Cavalry are nearly finished. Horses are completed, and the troopers just need a tiny bit of work. I notice Gunnar is painting an AIRFIX Army, which proves that some guys just love to suffer! BB

MABO - I have completed my Guard Chasseurs and Brunswick Leib Infantry. Before I move on to send them across to you I have reviewed the list and would be more than happy to also provide the following if still needed;

Italeri - French Line/Volt/Grenadiers
Revel - 95th Rifles
Revel Prussian Infantry

Just to be clear though, you are looking for one of each? 1 French Line 1 French Volt. 1 French Grenadier
I guess the same question would hold for the 95th and the Prussians.

Hello friends,

thanks again for support. @Bramble15 and Beano Boy: Thanks for the offer to paint more figures. I would really appreciate if you Paul would paint the Italeri: Prussian Infantry, Landwehr marching pose and you Rich would paint the Italeri French Line Infantry only one Voltigeur or a Grenadier. But thinking about a duel with the 2.Light Bat. KGL a Voltigeur would be better, maybe.

Of course you can paint also more figures, but I would like to wait a little because I hope that more members may take part and so they should have been a chance to chose figures they like.

Let us keep in touch and discuss other activities later, is this ok with both of you?

I hope that the BFFFWP brings a lot of people together from all over the world. Having a project together and no fight would be great on the anniversary of the battle.

I too agree to the proposal you have set forth. I will paint the French from Italeri to add to the others I have chosen.

Just to make a general point - I am very excited and pleased to be a part of this project. Living here in the U.S. I do not have the luxury or the ability to get to know you guys and participate in the great events put on "over there". With that said, thank you MABO for your efforts to organize and set this up.

Nokia had an advertisment where they said they were connecting people. The more fitting would be "Jan (MABO), connecting people". Or was it collecting?

Hello Dirk,

thanks for joining the project! Really great that a German member paints Prussians...
The two Revell set are free to choose. Beano Boy is going to paint the Italeri Figure already.

So let us keep in touch and I will give you the address.

Best Regards
Jan

Rich--I hear you loud and clear. You ought to try and swing by the Chat Room if you see folks on line. It's a great way to meet our fellow painters "over there", including compelling photos of painted works, hot chicks, and beer.

Cheers,
Kurt

Hi Jan,

I have here a complete set of the Revell Old Guard painted and ready.
I won't be needing this set for my diorama for a long time.
The part where this unit will be, is in the row for finishing in 2025 (or later).
First I have to check where it is and in what condition.
I think some retouching will have to take place. But after that is done......
I have your adress.

Yes Jan,

I was the first member after Benno himself. :headbang:
Which pose do you prefer to have?
I have painted them all!

Maybe third or fourth pose in the first row...? It is to symbolize the last stand of the Guard at the end of the battle.

Hey there!

I just had a look at my cabinet and found some figures from my early painting period (just before I started shading etc. - they are painted rather basically).

What I found there are:
Prussian Landwehr, 3rd Silesian regiment (Airfix)
Prussian 27th regiment of the Line (reserve, HaT Prussian reserve infantry)
Prussian 21st, 1st batallion of the Line (flagbearer, English uniform, ESCI paint conversion)

ESCI British infantry and Revell 95th rifles conversions for
- Landwehr Verden
- Landwehr Osterode
- Line batallion Osnabruck
- Luneburg batallion (officer)
- Bremen batallion sharpshooter
- Feldjagercorps

In addition, I found ten line infantrymen (1 from Italeri, rest from HaT) painted in the colours of the 10th line infantry regiment (1st Silesian). It would be no big deal to change the cuffs&collars for getting other regiments (for example from Brandenburg or Pommerania).

With a little refurbishment, a bit of shadowing here and there, they might be suitable. Plus it could keep someone else from doing more work then necessary.

Just let me have some feedback about it - and about which Prussian/Hannoverian regiments are still needed.

I would also be happy to add 28th and 29th Prussian line regiments - the only ones in white uniforms (former Westphalian). And I still have plenty of unpainted Prussians of all sort - including the darn old Airfix Landwehr.

Hello Sascha, great you are in as well!

Please have a look at the list for the project on the beginning of the topic. There are some minor changes, Peter will add in a short while. In the list you can see what is still missing.

As far as I can see from the figures mentioned, the ESCI British Infantry is still free for you. I thought about a British Regiment but if you paint the figures as a Verden Landwehr it is fine as well.

But maybe you will find another figure you can paint from the list.

Greetings Jan
