Part Two

:sst: i'mmmm,i wonder, :cowboy: If 'en it be true? :sst: ...yes that was what i wondered. :eh: Anyway who cares? Well I guess BB,cares enough to mention that ship after it had lain silent hid for hundreds of years deep within that coastal mud .
:sst: well i'm a wee bit curious to find out.
:read: Well BB,is an unorthodox artist author on the Internet, so as a writer he lies every day as each one passes by and another fresh one duly arrives.
:eh: What! So that actualy means within this written open ended topic upon the Forum,we do not really exist! :eh: This is getting far worse by each passing sentence.

:coffee: HMS Surinam , was originally a 20 gun class French Corvette named HUSSARD which was launched in 1788 and the British captured her that same year. The Royal Navy took her into service as HMS Surinam,as there was already an HMS Hussar. The Dutch captured her in 1803.naming her Suriname, but the British recaptured her in 1807 and sent her to Britain. Thereafter she never again served on active duty. She disappeared from the Royal Navy lists in 1809,but her fate is unknown.

Part Three
Creating the Seabed

Image

Image

It was made using blu tac,and by simply pressing the parts into it.

ImageImage

i am currently writing the story of this ship within my own imagination it being the case the Ship actually existed as reported upon above.

:coffee: She remains missing to this very day but will live on in Literature! Thank U 4 stopping by. BB

Couldn't make anything out of the first pictures. The last pic makes a lot of sense! Many years ago (1976 hot Summer day, first time in Stockholm) I visited the Vasa Museum. It was quite interesting. Probably more interesting now, when they have done more with the old ship.

:coffee: Sorry about causing you confusion over my oddity of created sea bed Gunnar. It seems the older i get the art of causing confusion to others has become a typical norm!

:read: To wind up, upon Old Fools day,
:coffee: i had noticed the clock time and had only six minutes left to post before April 1st time limit ran out. It being of course 12 noon. I knew it. :eh: Me a'nall. :cowboy: Well Pards, something else began to appear here. :sst: it being bb's long lost story.

:coffee: The Simple blu tac Mould
Was a project from my past costing very little indeed. However some things were not what they first appeared to be. Only BB,could wind up such a story around blu tac. :read: Which is just another one coming out from the Library!

Image

And so it was long ago,
That i began to remove the hastily stuck into place pieces. i thought yes I'll cast this up with a new batch of resin. Which was the least i could do after seeing the deliveryman struggling so under the total weight of it as he carried it down the old narrow courtyard where we try to live a life of peace.
As per usual the place was full with cars, white vans and a rather large overloaded Pink Panther Land Rover outside number 9.

:coffee: 'You should have used a sack borrow',i said to him who was near enough out of puff. "I ain't got one." He Gasped out."

After a cool drink he regained his energy to go upon his way showing the thumbs up approval for the Pinky!

Not that far away In an Alternative Universe

Beneath The Waves
Remains of the Surinam, lay with some of her guns from her main deck now exposed after the force of a tremendous shockwave, the result of a Russian shadow fleet Tanker directed in hostility rammed into a another Tanker carrying aviation fuel for the US Airforce stationed in Great Britain, with both ships exploding in UK waters sending up bellowing giant black smoke laced with licking explosive flames.
Oddly though the Russian Ships Skipper was saved from the sea by the British Coast Guard. There being no other survivors save a hideous ,odious , dwarf Rat that had scrambled onto the Russian Captains head while both were freeze bobbing with their eyeballs set deep into salty sea level surprize!
The Captain now a prisoner will be held to account whereas the Rat escaped to live out his now rather short survival fate.

I was confused at first, too,by the April 1 pic. But then I thought that the seabed might be a product of your ingenious workshop. And I was right! Thank you for those WIP photos, it is a really clever idea.

Thank you Gunnar, sberry,Ochoin,Stephane42 and all you others that have chosen to view this latest adventure with little 76 Year old me!
i had determined fact and fiction in my story telling must always have place in display within it,as this angle of thought and letters can make each adventure much more plausible. This simplictacle approach can then become tenable inspite of a deep fog start. BB

BB, are you sure that the figure on the left in the first picture is not Harry Potter with his wand?

Joking aside, the perspective views of the library in the other pictures with its wonderful floors are fantastic. Great work, BB!

This project is truly wonderful, I love these bookshelves!
It reminds me of Görlitz in Saxony, which I visited last year. One of the city's gems is the historic library, which looks like this::

Once Upon A Time in another dimention Sir Percy Nots G Nivil,, discover of strange new worlds had been treading his feet up and down and from side to side testing out his new flooring for his Library.

Image

It had arrived upon that day of days when it seemed that there was so much to do and hardly any time available to do it. So upon consulting BB,upon this fact the call went out far and wide within the boundry of this system of things that seemed empty of helpers, for after all there was no payment involved at all. "Work for free,You must be crazy?"Most of those asked to aid this topic replyed. Some even laughed. It seemed rather odd to BB,because most of them he had always helped out when they were in dire need. :sst: 'it would be a learning curb,' the little Button, said to them as they one and all walked away.
:cowboy: 'You could ask Them, you know BB'. :eh:' Eh! Them! No,No! I can remember what happened the last time that they arrived here'. 'Well let bygones be bygons', Mr green said,'forgive and forget'

:coffee: Now it has always been my intent to employ all those wishing to help out upon the table top building site, and these pepper pot sci-fi wonders were totally satisfied just to have their main frame computers fully serviced, along with a well directed bolt of electricity which caused some of their BBC light bulbs to explode!

Image

 Exploded yes sending out shards of flying glass across the room. An in a timely instant Bella, the dog vanished under the protection of the thick heavy set leather couch thus avoiding such a sharp display of crystal.
As a curling whiff of smoke departed from each ear, :coffee: "Wow! That certainly was another adventure in my life, While trying hard to preserve it in others" . :eh: "But BB they are Dalek's!" :coffee: "Yes, i reckon so". :cowboy: I just love having adventures BB. :eh: "No, We want none of those here. Adventures are untimely things that gobble up ones time as if there were no end to it." :sst: "adventures certainly are long drawn out drafty things", said the little button". :cowboy: "Well we'll wrap up warm", the Cowboy, simply declared with a smile! :read: Yes that sounds Cool,to me." decleared the Book Worm. :eh: ! But there is no adventure here blurted out, WingNut!" " That's simply because BB's not posted it here yet."

Image

:coffee: Talking so upon sci-fy adventures, a big problem was realised here upon this topic... it being one big poke in my eye! Most of my pictures have a blue screen now. ' They lost their Licence because Imgur did not protect childrens details. So guys once again i suffer it again as others have to,too. We cannot let it destroy the arts and crafts movement , but carry on.

Stay safe and help others if you can.
There are certainly lots that need it. BB

That floor looks great!

The behaviour of Imgur looks less great, to put it mildly. This seems to happen with various picture posting platforms again and again. Like Keyser Soze in The Usual Suspects: And, like that, they are gone...

There is only one remedy known to me: Exactly to avoid this type of nasty surprise, I am uploading all pictures to be posted somewhere on the server of my own homepage. And I have an exact copy of everything on my HDD, so if they should decide to terminate their service one fine day, I can just move on and upload all the stuff somewhere else.

Trying hard to post for free now,
one could say it is like the condition of my castle above!
''it never rains but pours!''

:coffee: However i finally found a couple of ways.

Image

After over five years of hobby style creative fun i thought i'd simply add these pictures that hopefully will not fade away. So above are a few of the last book blanks i made recently.

Image

:coffee: Small 28mm scale castle whereby i made the scratch built silicate molds and cast them up with my own super above and beyond mix of resin. A mix that will remain my secret! As there are far to many pirates out there.
The design is one of using loose blocks so all manner of configurations can help build interest upon a tabletop of out flanking views.
As always stay safe, stay well and help others if you can.BB

BB, like Chris, I have also been using Postimage for several years and, with a few exceptions, it usually works quite well. I am happy with it. ;-)
