Many thanks to all of you who have participated in this new (and long) edition of the competition: to Peter for organising it, to those who have contributed their works, to those who have voted and to those who have seen it, even if they haven't voted. :occasion:

And in my particular case, a special thanks to those who voted for my vignette.

As soon as I can (if I don't have any more problems accessing the forum as I have had this last week), I will post a report on the making of the vignette, well illustrated with as many pictures as possible. ;-)

Best regards!

Santi.

Thanks for organizing this competition, Peter, also from my side. It was really tough and a close run thing. Congrats to the one and only Thomas Dürrschmidt and to Santi. I knew at first glance that it was your contributions. And a deep respect to the other participants.

Sadly there were only such a few votes in every round.

Thank you very much for the part that concerns me, Jan. For situations like the painting competition I don't know if having such a personal and identifiable style is an advantage or a disadvantage, haha.

And congratulations to you too, your Witch King of Angmar on the winged beast is a fantastic job.

Another excellent competition! Congratulations to the organisers and to the competitors. Maybe one day I will try to participate, but I'm still unable to respect schedules regarding the hobby, I would not like to be late... So what other painters can do is all the more impressive in my eyes :)

Great competition. I had fun voting.
Congratz to winners but to all participants too.
I'm a bit surprised that 28mm Warhammer 40k won.
Not because of quality but because of scale and topic.
But hey, that makes me happy.

Thank you very much, Gunnar. Your mummies were not bad at all for my taste. Let's see if you can guess from whom I got the idea to include some animals in my dioramas and vignettes.

Hello folks. Sorry for the late reply. My cheers to all participants of this competition. Great entries. I hope the competitions will also take place in the future and it will not last that long to start it next time.

I will take some pictures of my entry in the near future and post it here. This time I had the idea to kitbash a WW1 St. Chamond Tank in 1/35 for the Death Korps of Krieg.

A big thank you to Peter for the organisation of this competition.

Cheers from Bavaria

Thomas
