OK, here is how I did the wood painting....all colours from GW or Vallejo Game Color.
1. black spray primer
2. First coat painted with "scorched brown"
3. Second coat with "bestial brown"
4. Thin stripes with "vomit brown"
5. Thin stripes and accents with "bleached bone"
6. Washing with "gryffon sepia ink"
I always paint wood in stripes and let the last coat visible a little bit. No drybrushing.
