We've released a lot already this year, but the new goodies keep coming as we expand our Animals range to cover the English countryside and the African savanna! There's badgers, foxes and deer, zebras, lions and camels, there's even some crocodiles and giraffes!

We've also got some extremely useful horse packs, each containing 3 poses, with bare, saddled and baggage options available. These should suit a whole host of different games and periods so certainly worth a look.

It's taken us some time to start getting the TB-Line ranges back into production, mainly due to all of the production moulds needing to be replaced. We're making progress now and the first to appear is the Middle Age Europe range!

This lot consists of just 3 codes but they're very nice sculpts and quite useful items as well, covering knights on foot, armed peasants and peasant archers. The figures match up very well to our own, with only 0.5mm difference in the height and a slightly slimmer style to the sculpts. We've not made any changes to the sculpts but they have been cleaned up for the new moulds and are much crisper castings.

TB Line
Middle Age Europe - https://pendraken.co.uk/tb-line/middle-ages/europe/
TB-178 Knights on foot (30) £5.50
TB-179 Armed peasants (30) £5.50
TB-180 Peasants with bow (30) £5.50
(Packs contain 30 figures)

And the pics:

Next up in the TB Line ranges will be the Middle Ages Eastern Europe set, which we should have ready in the next fortnight hopefully.

While we're busily moulding up new ranges, Tony Hughes has been working hard on some new flagsheets for our recent 1849-1866 Italian range! There's not a great deal of info available for some of these but Tony's done a lot of work to make sure that these are as accurate as possible.

1849-66 Italians - https://pendraken.co.uk/19th-century/eu ... 6-italian/
PNFL712 1848 Piedmont flags
PNFL713 1861 Piedmont flags
PNFL714 Papal/Naples flags
PNFL715 Garibaldini flags

All priced at £2.50 per sheet

We've got the next set of TB Line moulds completed so the Eastern European codes are now available again!

This range has 7 codes covering mounted command, cavalry and infantry with a nice mix of sculpts in each. We've also come across some extra master sculpts while making these new moulds, so both the 'Heavy knights with lance' and 'Armed peasants' have got an extra pose which might not have been available previously. The horses and riders are separate castings, usually rider + horse, but the light cavalry have got the legs moulded onto the horse with separate upper torso castings.

As with the previous release, these figures match up very well to our own. We've not made any changes to the sculpts but they have been cleaned up for the new moulds and are much crisper castings.

TB-185 Knights on foot (30) £5.50
TB-186 Armed peasants (30) £5.50
TB-187 Peasant archers (30) £5.50
(Packs contain 15 cavalry or 30 infantry)

With the success of our 10mm Pendraken zoo, we thought we'd expand into some bigger scales!

We've taken the original 9 codes we'd done in 10mm and asked Phil to make us versions in 15mm, 20mm and 28mm. The 28mm's are on the smaller side so would be fine for use with 25mm figures as well. Packs all contain 10 pieces, except the 20mm & 28mm cows which come in 5's instead. These are a quick and easy way of adding some extra scenery to your tables, or even as Fantasy armies for the more imaginative!

This next release from RedVectors is a lovely model of Escomb Church in County Durham. The real church is one of the oldest Anglo Saxon churches in England and one of only three complete examples still standing. The model doesn't have to be confined to the land of the Prince Bishops though and would sit happily on the table for all kinds of games.

The next designs from RedVectors will be some Wild West carts hopefully, we just need to get some horses done to pull them!

We've got some more additions to our Modern vehicles range with the Humber Pig and ZSU-57-2 released and ready to buy!

The Humber Pig was a lightly armoured truck used by the British army from the 1950's through to the early 1990's. With around 1700 produced, this vehicle is probably best known for its usage in Northern Ireland in the 1970's. There were also some quite fun conversions, including the Holy Pig (rooftop hatch with perspex screen), Squirt Pig (water cannon), Flying Pig (extending riot screens) and Kremlin Pig (wire screens for RPG protection)!

The ZSU-57-2 was a self-propelled anti-air gun built on a modified T-54 chassis. Developed in the mid-1950's and still in use today, over 2000 of these were produced and saw action in Vietnam, Yom Kippur, Yugoslavia and the Gulf War. They were still in use during the recent Syrian Civil War as well.

Modern
Vehicles - https://pendraken.co.uk/modern/vehicles/
MDV64 Humber Pig £2.95
MDV65 ZSU-57-2 £3.50

After they were launched at the Battleground show a fortnight ago, we've now added these ECW battle packs to the website as well. Covering the 3 ECW battles that took place here in the north-east of England, each pack contains a representation of the forces present at each engagement, at a ratio of roughly 1:10.

In August 1642, King Charles I declared war against his Parliament. The North, led by William Cavendish, Earl of Newcastle, generally supported the King. Cavendish’s 6-8,000 strong Royalist northern army marched south from Newcastle to relieve the Parliamentarian threat to Royalist York. En route it defeated a small Parliamentarian force at Piercebridge and then went on to challenge Parliamentarian forces led by the Fairfaxes in the west (Leeds/Bradford area) and the Hothams (Hull) and Cholmleys (Scarborough) in the East. The struggle for control of the bridge crossings of the River Tees, in order to move Royalist supplies of munitions from the Continent down to York and beyond, led to the engagements at Guisborough and Yarm.

Packs cover:-
The Battle of Piercebridge (1 December 1642)
The Battle of Guisborough (16 January 1643)
The Battle of Yarm (1 February 1643)

These packs are all available on our website now: https://pendraken.co.uk/battlefield-trust/

We've got more new releases for the Napoleonic gamers next, with the Dutch Belgians now available!

After the French conquest of the Netherlands in the late 18th century, the Kingdom of Holland had fought alongside the French until 1810, when Napoleon integrated the Netherlands into France and absorbed the army into his own Grande Armee. In 1813 however, an uprising against Napoleonic rule brought about both a new Kingdom of the United Netherlands and an independent Dutch army, which went on to serve as part of the allied forces during the 100 Days War, culminating at Waterloo.

Our range covers this later period with figures in both Dutch and Belgian style uniforms for both infantry and cavalry.

Our final release of 2018 adds a French five to the Modern Vehicles range with the addition of the AMX-VCI APC and the Panhard EBR armoured car.

The AMX-VCI was an APC variant of the AMX-13 chassis, with around 3000 produced in a number of variants. We've got the three most useful types:
- the VTT with a standard turret mounted machine gun.
- the 12.7, fitted with a 50 calibre HMG.
- the M-56, fitted with a 20mm cannon.

As well as France, these were extensively used by both Belgium and the Netherlands and are still in active service in various other countries.

The Panhard EBR was an 8-wheeled armoured car which was originally designed before WWII but didn't start production until the early 1950's. Both the FL-10 and FL-11 variants had 75mm turrets, with the latter being sourced from the AMX-13 tank. Over 1000 of these were produced in total, with one of them carrying the coffin of Charles de Gaulle at his state funeral.

Modern
Vehicles - https://pendraken.co.uk/modern/vehicles/
MDV66 AMX-VCI £3.30
MDV67 AMX-VCI 12.7 £3.30
MDV68 AMX-VCI M-56 £3.30
MDV69 Panhard EBR-75, FL-10 £2.95
MDV70 Panhard EBR-75, FL-11 (AMX turret) £2.95
