Chaos Space Vehicle

MUZZLE DECORATION

Image

I bought these, along with other fantasy stuff. "Why?"

For use as Gargoyle type stuff on medieval fantasy buildings, like castle towers, and bridges. I thought if they can muzzle a gun, they can muzzle a water run off spout from old style scratch building projects. They are the size of 28mm horses heads and are ideal for the job i intend using them for.
I also bought fantasy Knight Helmets and the same type Horse Heads too, along with shields. All to be used to dress building`s.

Not a Quick Sharp Splendid Post, but it will hopefully pass as a TIP! BB

Waited for a while for these to become available on line without paying massive postal charges.
By re-ordering lots more of A Call To Arms 1/32 scale sets and these, it was Free Postage.

One box for the Collection,
and a few from the other box to paint up. As you can see, there`s lots of choice in this box set,and all the horse furniture is all present and correct. BB

I've ordered some volley guns to add to my (as yet unpainted) Covenanter army:
http://www.tumblingdiceuk.com/product-c ... ars/page/3

They should take their usual 5 weeks to get here but I'll make a start on the two shot & pike regiments, Lancer unit, 2 Highland warband, Highland skirmishers & now the artillery I have sitting on my painting desk.

Very little is old in this hobby Jan,because new ones come along daily, and perhaps some might see your figures for the very first time. A good set of long standing in both scales, and i agree, "A very fine set indeed." BB

The Mail arrived today,18/12/2015.
The second box of Perry`s,Napoleonic British Light Cavalry.
THE CALL TO ARMS British Infantry at Rorke`s Drift.
I now have more than enough for a one to one portrayal of infantry in that famous engagement.
Those who would like to send me any of the number that in part make up the rest of over 4.000 Zulus,i would be more than gratefull. :-D

With having more than a full Regiment of British Infantry for the Zulu War my intention now is to reorder in batches of 13 boxes of Zulus at a time to avoid postage charges.

More 1/32 Scale Zulus

Image

6 Boxes

Image

6 Boxes Only 12 boxes this time because i also bought paint brushes.

I`m aiming at building an Army of 628 Zulus, which will be 128 more than the Zulus they had when making Zulu the Movie. So another 13 boxes and my goal will have been reached. Having over 1400 figures means other battles can come into play on a large table top Diorama.BB

Bought some items in other scales:

Scale 1/1
Laundry machine
Glasses (my dog found my old ones and now they don't fit my head)
Dishwasher

28-32 mm:
And some more fun items from Thomarillion (thanks Pascal!):
Diorama room I
Some staircases
A portal
Two columns

Everything will be used in my little sleeping Expedition-series. Not the 1/1-items that is.

I've collected the Chainmail (Wizard of the Coast) 28 mm miniature range for about a year now and this was my latest purchase of these from Ebay:

The rule system can be described as skirmishes based on the D20 Dungeons and Dragon rules. All figures are in metal and are very nice sculpted. The casting could be better though.

Well Dykio, and Gunnar, and all others who might find interest in the question asked.
Without giving to much away below sort of explains.

In the upside down, back to front, Topsy Turvy, Style of Sci-Fi Fantasy i write,
i needed Large Props made of Stone, for a setting within one chapter of the Book,
"The Jungle Photograph," that i am writing on my blog.
A few pictures of that jungle in part have been seen on the Forum already. However the actual story line is far to long and complex a tale to place here, but some more of the pictures can be as i produce the sets needed for Photo Shooting. __________This i feel comfortable in doing.

Concerning the Book itself i am writing a few chapters a month for release, and as events are being played out, there are cryptic clues hidden within the pages that now have reached up to the 9th Chapter.

Image

See large heads can have their uses.
Although i have no wish to copy what`s left of this once beautiful mountain.

One scene using these heads will span a six foot by two and a half foot table. It and others are not Diorama`s because after each successful shoot they will be dismantled with lots of stuff trashed into the bin.So the visual effect is all i aspire to create, and nothing more. Various sizes of figures are being used, but only to support the text here and there.

So this is my intended use for these heads.

:read: "Funny BB,used to do the head swop on model figures. Now it`s on large Tables!"
____ " Thank you Book Worm." Thanks for reading guys. BB
