My latest purchase in other scales

Posted by Beano Boy on 10 Feb 2017, 05:04

I have many in plastic bags in my stash drawers so nice to have some of them added to this box.
So another box in near mint condition on my shelf will suit me fine. It is a boyish thing.:-D

I am so glad that my Mrs B,does not collect Dolls.

:sst:" they are kinda Spooky hanging limp-loose, and tangled up out of large dusty cardboard boxes."
!!! !! And with that memory now let loose out of Pandora`s box of such Horror, they nodded scared stiff in agreement with each other, and the tiny timid little Button!

 " I think BB,ought to write that Horror story down, and scare every living soul upon the Forum and far Beyond IT! _____ :joker: " Yes dooooo give them a taste BB ?" Asked the Joker, as his strings began to slowly work him up and out for it,for he had been in that one big box for such a long old dusty time.

:coffee: " My Mother had a Doll`s Hospital,in one room of the house, and it was horrifying to all who ventured there."
ZOOOOOOOM! They all left.     :sst: "we did,and quick smart about It too",they all said as they stopped deep out of breath, and panting!
But the Joker, remained for he had an added morbid interest in such limp-loose tangled up things. For he himself was one such Doll in that awesome room of deep running shadows. :joker: " very true BB,come here child." ____ :eh: "EKKKKK!" Zoooooom,"i`m gone too. Are you?" BB

Yes Torsten, they are very cute and are getting much more rare and expensive too, and therefore I only buy job lots with combined postage plus tracked mail to my door. Gunnar, your prized dancing girl led me upon such a quest to obtain some for myself. I was totally unaware that there had been two poses of such dancing delight. I have many total sets made up,and some of those above will complete a few more that are unpainted. While the Roman Legion and other Asterix fellow figures have already been painted.Yes they are a peaceful lot that sometimes march out of their box and in front of my camera. I guess my friend Remco, will playfully get over the shock! :-D BB

I have had grey figures before so they should be the real Darguad figures from 1969 -1970`s,and not recasts. Recasting of these figures I believe has never happened. My Opinion based on the Darguad brand name being in differing places on the figures. If the real brand name is absent I would be proved wrong.

It would be good to find out who owns the original moulds and perhapes shove some money into producing them again. Well it only requires money,so I`ll pass the hat around. :-D BB

Hello,

sometimes surprises still exist. Usually I wait for Plastic soldeur review before buying a new box. Recently, I decided to be quicker than that. I bought Mars Sobieski's Polish and Orion Spahis.
Well, now the reviews are out....
Some of the Mars sets 17th century are qite usuable if not real beauties. I can find some charm in them, but these are just a total letdown. This si the more deplorable as they are really useful for a large part in Centrl European history and they could be converted into many interesting tribes.
On the other hand, Orion Spahis are very delicate and nice. No regret at all.

So a 50/50 thing. That's what you get if you are not patient enough.

Bronze Daleks

These are Imperial Daleks, brand new but hard to find. These are from the rare boxed BBC Board Game. I bought the entire stock for the Toy Collection.

All three types are now in the Fantasy Collection.

Plus I managed to buy The BBC Rare Boxed Game Set of 2005 New & In Mint Condition

This is a very good set to have because of the interactive TARDIS, with flashing light! BB

£1.45 +15p postage in blue or orange.
£1.59 + free postage in yellow
£1.59 +15p postage in black

They're But-It-Now from China of course so delivery takes longer. Same item however :P
Auction prices should be lower.

This one looks useful too @£1.59 free post :-D

I recently bought one of these kits

They're sold for working on finger nail art but I'm hoping to be able to use them on some of the plastic figures. If not I'm down about £1.50  (Including postage) :P
