Next year we will have the 75th anniversary of the Normandy Landings. Maybe my report and my pictures will inspire you to visit the location during the festivities.
You will find different Reenactment Camps.

As a regular visitor to Normandy, I share these experiences and memories. Thanks for posting the report and the pictures. They remind my of one of many books available dealing with the vehicles of the D-Day Landings.

Some years ago I have reported a little about our first visit in Bastogne during December. An event one should visit as well, if interested in the period.

Jan. very good report on the Bastogne event too. That shot of the pile of boots in the hospital really tells a story. I didn't know they'd made a statue of that famous end of the war image, that's a good thing.
