I'm currently reading "Waterloo: Wellington, Napoleon, and the Battle that Saved Europe" by Gordon Corrigan (Pegasus Books, 2014). Certainly not the first book on Waterloo, but informative and well-written by a former soldier with a wry sense of humor. Most of it is not shocking to anyone who has read up on the 100 Days Campaign, but Corrigan does offer some insight as to why for a time history (and Airfix ) chose to ignore the contributions of the Allied Forces and the Prussians. He does not ignore any of them.
Well worth a look during the bicentennial of this pivotal battle.
Cheers,
Kurt
