Go down to the sea in ships

Posted by Ochoin on 07 May 2026, 12:55

I'd ordered two Bronze Age ships in 1/72 for my Chariot Wars gaming. Printed by my friend in Adelaide - great job.

The delicate parts of the prints (oars, ropes, rails) needed replacing with mundane string & wooden matches but are now ready for painting.

I'm looking forward to when, crawling with Sea Peoples, they grace my wargames' table.

Those ships look great, Donald, and I'm sure they'll look much better once you've painted them. ;-)

Those are really sweet, far nicer than most of the 'bronze aged ships' you see.

Wow a cool option to carry the Greeks and Trojans over the Mediterranean Sea as well. Who created these ships?
