Amazing progress on this wonderful project, Enrico. The walls look brilliant, as do the archers who’ll be manning them. You can really tell they’re there from all the arrows stuck in the attackers’ shields and protections. :love: :love: :love:

and here are the first 4 assyrians.
These 3D figures are fantastic when you have to paint them, the precision of the pattern for clothes and shields are really non-humans (OK, they are computer made :xd: ).
The only "problem" is that is extremely difficult to reach with the brush the recessed zones of the back of the shields or internal lof the legs, where anyway the printed details are always super !

While the phrase "the Assyrians are coming" would have created panic in Antiquity, for us today it sounds very promising! This project is getting better and better...

"The Assyrian came down like the wolf on the fold,
And his cohorts were gleaming in purple and gold;
And the sheen of their spears was like stars on the sea,
When the blue wave rolls nightly on deep Galilee."

- Lord Byron.

I had thought that accessibility with a brush might be an issue with 3D printed figures. I am having trouble with some multipart Zvezda figures myself at the moment.
Regardless, they look great.

Those first painted Assyrians look amazing, Enrico. The enemies besieged in their city can start trembling in fear of them now. :mrgreen:

Thanks guys :-D
the Assyrians have really a bad reputation: except the military organization and capability, there is nothing other that is remember as positive in their empire ! Something like the Attila 's Huns (but for a much longer period).
