An update.
Japanese Invasion Transport - horse drawn

The Japanese supply wagon horses have been redone, tried three different versions of washes etc on Tamiya Red Brown base. Not sure which is favourite yet. The Saddle Brown version in the middle was too red initially but mellowed with a drybrush and has more depth.

For the limber crews (the limbers are ACW), I have used the ACW crew, as the kepi is a decent stand-in for the forage cap. Bare-chested helps with the illusion. Hopefully, this will work out OK.

Japanese support stand figures are ready for their washes, and basing. One figure per base with props.

Barrels for support stand props.
Update for the Empire forces:KrohKol (Brigade HQ) now has transport (all repainted 1/76 diecast)

Kitchen van from the RASC company (the 'Krohkol Kanteen', which is a repurposed Austin fire truck), serving tea and bread (Teh & Roti).
Signals truck as the staff radio truck.
Command car for the Brigade HQ staff
RASC ammunition lorry.

62 Battalion (5th/14th Punjab), also now has battalion transport complete:
Battalion HQ has 1 car (in my case a 1/76 diecast Tilly repainted), and three repainted diecast 15cwt trucks:

Next up will be the rest of the Brigade RASC company from 2nd/3rd Australian Motor Transport Company, and support stands.
Cheers!
