In the middle

Posted by Ochoin on 04 Dec 2022, 23:44

I often simultaneously paint figures from several periods as I find it alleviates boredom.
I just noticed that the "middle" features on my painting table at the moment - Napoleon's Middle Guard & my Middle Ages' "Lion Rampant" force.

As you can see, I'm in the middle of this task & progressing middling-well. So, it may look like a muddle but it is the 'Middle".

I leave it "in the middle" if this will be a fair battle between "Middle ages" knights and "Middle guard" Napoleonic figures! I would put the knights to the "right" and the Napoleon figures to the "left" and in the "middle" some figures of another period!

Does this sound silly enough? :xd:  :joker:

Reina del Cid and Josh Turner with some friends have made a very nice cover of it. Highly recommended!

And I think it is good and healthy to paint different periods at the same time. Or am I just confusing things???? :eh:
